New USTA New England Board Begins 2024-26 TermNew Board

Levine and Page Win December Captains of the MonthCongratulations to Kristin Levine and David Page on being named USTA League December Captains of the Month. Kristin is from Raynham, MA and has been captaining for seven years, including leading her Women’s 3.5 40 & Over team out of Lakeville Athletic Club. Dave is from Nashua, NH, and has been captaining his Men’s 4.0 18 & Over and 40 & Over teams out of Algonquin Indoor Tennis Center since 2019. He also captained for a few years in the early 2000s.

Rubin and Holm Named July Captains of the MonthCongratulations to the July USTA League Captains of the Month, Sam Rubin, of Brookline, MA and Hilary Holm, of Whitefield, ME! Sam Rubin started as a Social Tennis League player, where he’s played in Boston area sites for years. It was there he found out about the opportunity to serve as a captain of the 18-39 league out of Eastern Mass.

Rothe and Anastas Named June Captains of the MonthAnnemarie Rothe is a resident of Greenwich, CT. She has been a USTA Captain for eight years and heads four different USTA League teams in four divisions. Peter Anastas is a resident of Waterford, CT. He has been a USTA Captain for six years and runs five USTA League teams.

Nguyen and Bracken Named May Captains of the MonthCongratulations to Huong Nguyen and Doug Bracken on winning USTA New England’s May League Captains of the Month. Huong lives in Stoneham, MA and has captained a variation of her 9.0 Mixed 18 & Over and 40 & Over team out of Woburn Racquet Club since 2017. Doug lives in Farmington, CT and has captained his Men’s 18 & Over 4.5 team out of Big Sky Fitness- Farmington since 2018.

USTANE Partners with PTRUSTA New England is excited to announce a new partnership with the Professional Tennis Registry PTR to increase the number of tennis coaches in New England and promote a safe and respectful environment for coaches and athletes to thrive on the court.
