OUR 2023-24 Fundraiser: THE WARRIOR COALITION!
Over the last several years, Plumsted School District has been negatively impacted by reductions in state education funding, in an exponentially increasing and substantive way. OUR small school of students and staff are being directly affected by these cuts. Our district has and continues to pride ourselves on the impressive accomplishments that our students and staff annually receive, which is a direct result of the competitive and proper education provided by our district. This, unfortunately, may cease to exist, as cuts threaten the student populations’ ability to participate in a variety of extracurricular activities and have the true Warrior experience. WE ARE ASKING YOU TO HELP BY DONATING TO THE BUSINESS ACADEMY AS AN ONGOING FUNDRAISER TO HELP OUR SCHOOLS! We are looking for corporate sponsors and private donations. Donations will be going directly back to the school.
We are reaching out to the Warrior Community to help the Plumsted Township School District. We are very proud of our Alumni, your successes, and accomplishments. During this time of need due to the state not funding our school properly, we are turning to our Warrior Family for what we do best....come together to help the younger generation. The current Warriors should have the same opportunities as those who have walked our hallowed halls in the past.
The Business Academy at NEHS will be leading this project called "The Warrior Coalition." The current academy students will be running the Alumni Page, Alumni Updates, and information that the Alumni would like to post. The Academy will monitor the page, posts, and update as needed by you, the Alumni. We look forward to hearing from you. Thank you for your time and efforts!

BUSINESS DINNER MEETINGS ARE ALWAYS INSPIRATIONAL, MEANINGFUL & FUN!
Pedro Lescaille, President & Chief Operating Officer of The Allied Group gave an excellent motivational speech to our members on October 30, 2023. He inspired many of our members to be a successful person not only in the business world but in life. Mr. Lescaille shared special business techniques, shared how dreams do come true with hard work and dedication! We enjoyed his company and gaining an understanding of ones journey on being a successful human being, family person and running a company. He is also a community member of our town!

Business Academy Members entered a competition for the ATCP called the
WAWA Hero Award Contest... we didn't win but we thought it's important to still spread Awareness and watch our video...the story about our "Little Warrior" Connor being a hero and a fighter, and how NEHS Business Academy is making a difference in our community. Our fundraiser will start in the Spring of 2024!

Business Lab
Business Academy Members get to fully utilize the Business Lab that offers many resources such as multiple television screens to monitor business-related news. Likewise, students get to collaboratively work in an environment similar to a business environment and workplace that will help them prepare for a career in the business field.
Guest Speakers
Occasionally throughout the year, multiple guest speakers will come and talk to members about the business field. There are various guest speakers in different fields of the business world who will share their experiences and inform students about the different career paths one can take. This is a unique opportunity for members to learn about the real world of business and learn about a career they may go into.
Dinner Meetings
One of the best parts of being involved in the Business Academy is the Dinner Meetings where students collectively eat together while having a business meeting. To add, at times, there will be guest speakers who will come to the meeting and discuss a different aspect of the business world. More importantly, this meeting simulates a similar experience in the business field as students gain insight into how a real-world business meeting is like.
Field Trips
The Business Academy members will get the opportunity to go on business field trips and gain valuable experience in the business world. As students adventure on the field trip, they will get to see firsthand what real-world business is like with the work environment, how the workplace is structure, and more. More importantly, the field trips act as a way for students to explore different aspects of business and gain valuable in a career in business.
