Why have a P&C?

To have an official association provides a parent community with a means to independent representation and a legitimately recognised consultative voice.

What's the role of our NHS P&C?

NHS P&C is a consultative body that supports the school in their Strategic Directions. 

We take great care in representing our community through a number of roles:

• parents representative on staff merit selection panels

• representing the parent body on various committees e.g. finance budgeting workshop; new build working group

• meeting collaboratively in a forum each term to hear directly from the Principal, presentation from faculty heads, and generally discuss the needs of our school

• providing a platform for public advocacy when an independent voice is required e.g. advocating for school crossings

• assisting teaching and support staff in any way we can, also offering our support at school functions where possible

• fundraising
