To have an official association provides a parent community with a means to independent representation and a legitimately recognised consultative voice.
NHS P&C is a consultative body that supports the school in their Strategic Directions.
We take great care in representing our community through a number of roles:
parents representative on staff merit selection panels
representing the parent body on various committees e.g. finance budgeting workshop; new build working group
meeting collaboratively in a forum each term to hear directly from the Principal, presentation from faculty heads, and generally discuss the needs of our school
providing a platform for public advocacy when an independent voice is required e.g. advocating for school crossings
assisting teaching and support staff in any way we can, also offering our support at school functions where possible
