Provide an academic resume and/or career resume to the person you are requesting a letter from, so they may tailor the letter to you and your accomplishments. Be sure to include any clubs, organizations, sports teams and community service activities. Also, provide at least 5-7 business days for them to properly complete the letter, don't wait until the last minute.
