I graduated from Mid Carolina High School in 1997. My education includes a Bachelor of Science in Child Development from Claflin University, a Master’s in Early Childhood Education from South Carolina State University, Ed.S. in Teacher Leadership from Walden University and Administrative Certification obtained from Lamar University. I also received National Board Certified in the area of Early Childhood Generalist in 2010. I have been an educator in Newberry County for 18 years. I've taught Pre-Kindergarten, first grade and also served as a Parent Educator and Literacy Coach.

I am the daughter of Willie and Deborah Robinson of Pomaria, SC. I have one sister, Audrey Williams, two nieces, Taylor and Sydney and one nephew, Jaxson (whom we affectionately call “Jax”). I am a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc and love spending time with my family, friends, and my Teddy Bear Shichon named Tux.
