Welcome to Mrs. Mill's First Grade Class!

Hello and welcome to First Grade! I'm so excited to have your child in my first grade class at PGE!  We are going to have a wonderful year filled with many hands-on activities, lots of new learning and fun!!

Meet the Teacher:

My name is Laurie Mills. I have been teaching school for 27 years. I live in Chapin with my husband, three children,  Cara(20), Preston(18), Calli(17), and my dog Rosco.  I received my Bachelor of Arts from Winthrop University and my Master's Degree in Divergent Learning from Columbia College. Also, I achieved my Master's Plus 30 certificate for taking various courses to continue to be a lifelong learner in the field that I love.  

All of my students are unique and special children that I hope to grow academically as well as socially and emotionally.   Some of my goals for your child are to think positively, overcome obstacles and set goals for a BRIGHT future!
