I immediately began to work at the same school in which, I did my student teaching in Orangeburg Consolidated School District 5. I obtained my first master's degree from Lesley University in Educational Technology in 2009. I obtained my second master's degree from Claflin University in General Studies in Teacher Leadership in 2010. I began my career at Sheridan Elementary School as a 5th grade Science teacher for 2 1/2 years. I was then placed at William J. Clark Middle School for from 2009-2015. There I participated in many things such as State Science Fair judge, SCOPE academy, classroom technology presenter, team leader, drop-out prevention instructor conference presenter at both the local, and state conferences. I also further my passion for at risk youth by also becoming a behavioral therapist through an organization called Carolina Therapeutic Services. I then returned to the elementary setting for 2 additional years before returning to teach in my hometown. This currently my third year here at the rocket looking forward to impacting my own community.
