Hello and welcome back for another amazing school year!

My name is Marley Long and I will be your teacher for the 2023/2024 school year. This year is truly like no other, and we will continue to figure it out a day at a time. I will be teaching only Biology 1 this year!

This is my 3rd year of teaching, and I am back for another year at Mid Carolina High School. I have my bachelor's degree from Clemson University in Agricultural Education with a minor in Horticulture. I have my master's degree from Grand Canyon University in Secondary Education with an Emphasis in STEM. I love agriculture, most specifically plants and animals, which brings to my love for science. 

I currently have 8 babies, or should I say fur babies. I have a Rottweiler Mix named Stella, a Great Dane/ Blue Tick Coonhound Mix named Shelby, and two huskies named Silvia and Sileighty. Also, their names are very unique as they all start with S, and each is a name of a car. I have four cats as well named Maverick, Goose, Sterling and Little Bit. 

I enjoy being outside, either working on the farm or playing with my dogs. I also enjoy traveling, as I travel through different states going to multiple different car shows and drag races.
