My name is Mallory Green. I am going into my 9th year of teaching Physical Education, Health, and Weight Lifting at Mid-Carolina. I am originally from Chester, South Carolina. I received my Bachelors degree in Physical Education in May of 2016 from Lander University. While attending Lander, I was apart of the cheer program for four years, was a member of Phi Mu Fraternity, and worked for the athletic department. I have also spent time working for the Universal Cheerleading Association during the summer months. My passion is working with and coaching teenage girls and helping them develop holistically into their own type of leader. Out side of work I also love to spend time with my family. My husband and I have two daughters, Caroline (6) and Hazel Kate (4). Our favorite thing is to play in the yard with our girls and our two labs! Oh, and Go Tigers!
My name is Jackie Harris. I am originally from Pomaria, SC. This year will be my 44th year in teaching PE at MCHS. Not only have I taught at this school my entire career, it is also my alma mater. Since graduating in 1973, I have obtained a degree in Automotive Technology from Midlands Technical College (1975), received my Bachelor's of Science degree in Physical Education from the University of South Carolina (1981), and went on to get my Masters of Sports Administration from the United States Sports Academy. As a teacher of MCHS I also have the pleasure of coaching multiple sports. I coach defensive ends on the football team as well as head the Boys and Girls Track Team. I also help hold the title of State Champions with the football team of 1985 and the Boys Track Team of 1996. I received the award of State Coach of the Year in 1996. Apart from teaching and coaching, I have built a family of 5 with my beautiful wife, Jenny, and our three (now grown) children -- Sara, Erin, and BJ. Some of my hobbies include farming, woodworking, and Mechanics. Cows are my passion. Yee-Haw.
