Hello, and welcome back for another amazing year!

My name is Kaitlyn Fugel and I will be your teacher for the 2022/2023 school year. These past few years have truly been like no other, and I am excited to be getting back to a new "normal" this year. I teach Environmental Science, AP Environmental Science, and Biology 1.

This is my 12th year of teaching, and my 6th year here at Mid Carolina High School. I have my bachelor's degree from The University of Georgia in Science Education for grades 6-12, and my master's degree from Lesley University in Science Education with a focus on Earth/Space/Environmental Sciences. I LOVE all things Science, the Earth, nature, space, pretty much anything that has to do with this amazing planet we are living on!

I have a 2 year old son, 3 crazy cats, and I have a lot of plants.... like... a lot :) I enjoy gardening, traveling, going to concerts, and anything with nature and the outdoors!

After School Tutoring/Help Sessions

I am available by appointment ONLY, and request you let me know at least 1 day in advance. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays are the best days for any after school help, but am available daily through Schoology and email. I will get back to you as soon as possible.
