Meet the Teacher

Hi!  My name is Mrs. Jennifer Jones.  I am looking forward to a great 2025-2026 school year!  This is my 21st year teaching, but my 18th year in Newberry County.  I graduated from Cheraw High School in 2000, earned a Bachelor's Degree in Art Education and a minor in Art History from Winthrop University in 2005.  In 2009, I earned my National Board Certification in Early/Middle Childhood Art and in 2012 I earned my Master's Degree from Arkansas State University in Curriculum and Instruction.  In 2018, I successfully renewed my National Board Certification.  I have been married for 20 years, and have two boys; Jack Davis who is 13, and is a 8th grade student at Mid-Carolina Middle School, and Wilson who is 9 and is in 4th grade at LME.  We live at the lake with our two cats (Belle and Boo) and our lab/hound mix (Gander).  In my spare time I enjoy painting and making jewelry with polymer clay.
