About Dr. Rubin

Welcome to the 2025-2026 School Year! 

This is my eighth year at Mid-Carolina High School.  I am excited about the opportunity to get to know the students, parents, and community that our school serves. I have a Ph.D. in History from Emory University, and before that I completed a B.A. in History at Yale University.  Currently, I live in Columbia, South Carolina, with my wife, Jennifer, and our children, Lainie and Jack.
