My name is Sunshine Hayes and I have been teaching since 2006. I graduated from Newberry College in December of 2006 with a degree in Elementary Education. I decided to go back to school after graduation and I obtained my Master's Degree in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment from Walden University.

After my first job in Greenville County, I returned to Newberry County in 2007. I taught 4th grade at Gallman Elementary before coming to Whitmire. Since I have been a teacher at WCS, I have taught 3rd and 4th grade. Since graduating from Newberry College, I have obtained my Master's Plus 30 in Literacy.

I have two sons, Peyton and Daniel. We live in Clinton, SC.
