I have taught a total of 13 years. I have taught 2nd grade, 3rd grade, and 5th grade.

About Mrs. Dean

My name is Naketa Dean and I am going to be your child's second grade teacher. This will be my tenth year at Newberry Elementary School. I love second grade and all the exploring, learning and fun we get to have. 

I have been married to my husband for 19 years and together we raise two growing boys, Avery and Cameron.  When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family.
