Welcome to Physical Education at Pomaria-Garmany! My name is Coach Long and I have been teaching PE now for the past 24 years. The last four years have been at Pomaria- Garmany. I am a 1994 graduate of Newberry College where I received a Bachelors of Science Degree in Physical Education. During my time at Newberry College I also played baseball. My wife, Jennifer, and I have been married for 24 years and we have two sons. My oldest son, Jerran is a senior at Mid-Carolina High School and my youngest son, Jacksen is a fifth grader at PGE. Both of my boys enjoy playing sports and spending time outside. I also coach varsity baseball at Mid Carolina High and middle school girls basketball at Mid-Carolina Middle School. Outside of school, I enjoy going hunting and fishing and spending time with my family.
