My name is Carl Moore, and I am entering my tenth year of teaching at Mid-Carolina High School. I am a 2008 graduate of Mid-Carolina, a 2012 graduate of the College of Charleston (BS, History), and a 2022 graduate of Ohio University (MAA). I am married to the former Mary Kirkegard from Newberry and have two children, Allie Kirk, who is 12, and Hank, who is 8.

I am a lifelong Rebel. Both of my parents graduated from Mid Carolina, as did my younger sister Mary Kathryn and brother Al. Every one of my aunts and uncles graduated from Mid Carolina, and my grandmother, Nora Stuck was the first secretary of Mid Carolina. It is a goal of mine to build MC into one of the best high schools in South Carolina and in doing so, develop our students into exemplary individuals.
