Education:

My name is Amy Wicker. I was born and raised in Newberry County and am a product of Newberry County Schools. I attended Little Mountain Elementary and the Mid Carolina Schools. I am a 1996 graduate of Mid Carolina High School. I went on to further my education at Newberry College. I graduated from there in 1999 with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Elementary Education. In December of 2006 I completed my Master's Degree in Technology and Education from Nova Southeastern University. I have been very fortunate to call Little Mountain Elementary my home for the past twenty-two years.

Family:

I am married to Daniel Wicker who is also a teacher in the district. He teaches 7th grade Science at Mid-Carolina Middle School. We have two daughters and a son who are our pride and joy. Emma is a freshman in college, Julianne is a sophmore at MCHS, and Brendan is a 6th grader at MCMS.

Hobbies and Interests:

I am a huge South Carolina Gamecock Fan and Newberry Wolves fan. I enjoy going to many USC and Newberry College sporting events. I also enjoy reading children's literature, baking, drawing, spending time with my family and friends, and going fishing and kayaking. We also spend a lot of time at dance competitions and ballfields watching our children play various sports.
