I am thrilled to be starting this semester with you! This year, we are all trying to be the Top Dog version of ourselves. What does this mean for you? I want to support you to do your best and to excel like you never have before.

Also, our school's goal is to "dominate in all areas." I look forward to working with you to make that happen in your academic, athletic, or performing/visual arts efforts.

This is my eighth year teaching English at Newberry High School. I am a graduate of Anderson University, and I was the
NHS Teacher of the Year for 2019-2020. I am committed to ensuring that all students are engaged, appreciated, and understood, no matter who they are.

People that know me would say that I'm energetic! This is because I think it's important to find things to celebrate, and to share in celebrating with others. I love a reason to laugh and to see the possibilities of a situation!
