Mrs. Morse

Welcome to 4^th Grade! My name is Mrs. Morse and I’m excited to be your teacher this year! I hope everyone has been able to stay healthy since March, and that everyone is excited to be back. School will be a little different this year, but I promise you to do my best in helping you learn and grow in a positive classroom community. I hope you are ready to work hard and have fun!

A little about me:

I am married to my husband Jonathan and we have 2 kids, James and Taylor. James is 2 ½ and Taylor is almost 1! We also have a dog named Izzy and a cat named Mr. Kitty. This summer we were able to visit many zoos and petting farms, along with our family’s cottage. In my spare time lately I’ve enjoyed crafting, playing the board game Clue against Jon, and I always read before going to bed. I went to Michigan State University for undergrad and Arizona State University for my Master’s in Early Childhood Education. I have worked with students since 2007, and have previously taught 6^th, 5^th, and 1^st grade. However, 4^th is my favorite and I’m proud to be a Newaygo Lion! I love teaching, especially math, and my favorite book is Number the Stars by Lois Lowry (I will read this to you later this year)! I’m so glad to have you here and can’t wait to get to know you more!
