Join us in a screening of The Sacrifice Zone, a documentary by Ironbound Community Corporation that explores the community struggle against polluting facilities in Newark. Afterwards, volunteers will break into groups to evaluate the issues in the film through a Justice, Sustainability, and community engagement lens by participating in such activities as case studies, simulations, and discussions. Students, families, student groups, and community members are all welcome.
