To help your child become a stronger reader and writer, our class will engage in a 40-Book Challenge! This means your child is expected to read at least 20 minutes a day. It's a fun way your child will learn 1,800,000 new words this school year and become interested in authors and series of books. There will be Book Talks, conferences, projects, and even prizes along the way. Please click this link to find out WHY reading is important!
