"Students and teachers working together to achieve a successful education for all students"

The Renaissance program is a nationwide program to motivate students and staff by rewarding individual academic excellence. Renaissance is a partnership between business and education, which brings ideas and people together and finds ways for students to experience the joy of learning.

The mission of the Renaissance program at Nevada High School is to recognize educational achievement and outstanding contributions of the students and staff members through a process of reinforcement, recognition and reward.

The Nevada High School Renaissance program is committed to helping all students achieve their academic goals. By rewarding each student for personal successes, we are striving for a quality education. Nevada High School student incentives include discount cards, attendance awards, Friday night fun pack, scholar artists/scholar athletes, gold and silver lunches, renaissance day out, student of the month, renaissance parking, teachers' choice awards, golden trash can award, teacher of the month and many other incentive awards.
