🤵In May 2006, while he was launching a lessons learned report on the "4 years of food security project", the late President Alhaji Dr. Amed Tejan Kabba made a very strong case on why we as a nation, should produce our own food locally if we want to end Food and Nutrition Insecurity. He said in other words, "if every Sierra Leonean will grow a little bit of what they eat in their backyard, food & nutrition insecurity will be the least of our worries in Sierra Leone". 

Our Founder was very young, but somehow he understood and what the late President Alhaji Dr. Amed Tejan Kabba foresaw, and he believed his words. This very statement led to the birth of FarmBoy-SL an entity through which our Founder and his friends dedicated their entire life to the fight against food and nutrition insecurity. 

FarmBoy Enterprises is developing an integrated farming and produce marketing system that will not only ensure that our local farmers improve on processes and increase production to match current population growth and demand, but will also bring about the day when consumers all around the world can no longer need to worry about how they can acquire sufficient, safe, and nutritious home-grown African delicacies.
