This database contains videos, newspapers, magazines, and primary sources. The database supports research on social studies and history topics, along with other core subjects.

The EBSCO History Reference Center is a database containing historical sources from peer-reviewed journals, reference books, periodicals, and more.
Navigation & Search Tips:
-Click the graphic to the left to go directly to the EBSCO History Reference Center website. You may need to enter our school AEA username and password to gain access.
-At the home screen, you may browse by subject using the World History link. Within the list of World History topics you should locate Twentieth Century through World War II (1920-1945 CE). Selecting this link should generate a list of sub-topics, including Holocaust and World War II.
-Once you have selected a sub-topic, the database automatically performs a search of the collection. You may sort the results using the Refine Results section along the left side of the screen. Options include Full Text, Publication Date, and Source Type.
-You may also search by keywords using the Basic Search or Advanced Search options at the top of the screen. Note: when you utilize the Advanced Search you are able to include more options to narrow down your search results. In particular, see the Timeline limitation and consider selecting "World History -- Twentieth Century through World War II".
-Alternately, you may browse using the top header bar. Options include browsing by subject, publication, and searching images/videos.

Resistance During the Holocaust

The following 3 links are part of the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum website.
The Resistance document on the left details the efforts of resistance groups all across Europe, including in the ghettos and Nazi camps. The Personal Histories below are oral history recordings of Holocaust survivors sharing their memories. The Maps below provide visual reference for events related to the Holocaust and can be studied for geographical connections.
