The Growth team is a user-facing product team that is responsible for building and optimizing user experiences related to subscriptions (discovery, sign-up, login etc). The team works cross-functionally to actively ideate and run A/B tests to drive top-line company revenue and subscriber growth.
Partner Platform Engineering maximizes long-term revenue for Netflix by enabling signup, payments, upsell, and engagement through partner channels. The team builds backend platform, partner-facing APIs, and enablement tools to support partner payments and partner UI experience.
The Netflix Payments Platform enables efficient, low-friction, high-approval-rate monthly transactions for over 200M+ global customers. This platform helps improve long-term revenue for Netflix by optimizing payment processing by continuous innovation and experimentation.
Membership platform powers critical product experiences such as service holds/release, signups, plans and pricing, membership history for Netflix subscriptions around the world. The team builds and sustains backend, tier1, high RPS services that manage membership lifecycle and state. The membership platform enables global inventory of plans, prices, and offers available at Netflix.
Billing Platform enables recurring subscription billing for Netflix across our entire customer base (180M+). The team generates invoices and fulfills them through credits (e.g. gift cards) or routes them to payment processors and integrations via our Payments Platform team. The team also pushes global revenue data to our General Ledger that eventually becomes part of the revenue numbers in Netflix's financial statement.
Revenue Infrastructure builds high scale backend infrastructure that supports critical Revenue Finance workflows for revenue through streaming and partnership channels. RIE enables many backend processes for Netflix such as Netflix Partner Invoicing, Partner Revenue Distribution, Financial reconciliation with payment processors and banks etc.
RGT builds tools for Revenue & Growth Engineering teams with the goal to increase the observability of member states across various services. Tools team also builds UI tools that encourage self-service for our stakeholders and increase engineering velocity.
