Our Workplace and Environmental Health and Safety teams are working to help ensure our offices remain in line with current government restrictions and provide guidance on safety measures. Our highest priority is the health and safety of all of our colleagues whilst also allowing a productive environment for those in the office.

Health & Safety Protocols

Vaccinations

While COVID-19 vaccines are no longer required for employees or guests in our facilities, we strongly encourage everyone to stay up-to-date with COVID and influenza/flu vaccines.

Masks

Masks remain optional and available onsite.

Health & Hygiene

There is a cleaning regimen in place focused on common areas (reception, dining areas, hallways, restrooms) and high touch surfaces, and frequent disinfection of door handles, elevator/lift buttons, countertops, etc. Desks are cleaned thoroughly overnight. Our HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units) have also been upgraded with safety in mind.

Testing Program

Antigen self-tests are available for pick up at all of our EMEA offices - see collection locations here. Any test performed at an outside center may be purchased and expensed (see reimbursement details here). Please reference the location specific details here. You can contact safe@netflix.com with any questions.

Guest Guidance

If you have any guests coming into the office, we ask that you register them beforehand — it’s an important safety measure for us to know who is in the building. Make sure to pre-register them in our visitor management system, Envoy (full instructions here).


Your guest(s) will receive an email with detailed office information. When they arrive at reception, they will need to sign in with the Receptionist or Security Team and their host will be notified that they have arrived.

Positive Test Employee Guidelines

The Employee Health team has developed a protocol to provide guidelines to both Netflix employees and contingent talent in EMEA who have tested positive for COVID-19 or suspect they have been infected with COVID-19 (i.e. presenting symptoms or have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19).

Dawn Raid

Dawn Raid is an unannounced visit, under warrant, from regulatory or law enforcement authorities seeking information that can potentially be used as evidence in an official investigation. Usually, officials carry out inspections early in the morning. 

We do not anticipate any unfriendly visits from the authorities at any Netflix office. However, because dawn raids are not uncommon in some countries, we have a protocol in place for the office where this information is located and we want to make sure you know what to do if the authorities knock on the door.
