We are excited to introduce Pawsitive Beginnings (Preparing, Assisting, and Welcoming Our Youngest Students), the Netcong School District’s early childhood outreach program designed to support families with children from birth through age three.
The early years of a child’s life are a critical time for growth, learning, and development. Through Pawsitive Beginnings, our goal is to partner with families by providing guidance, resources, and opportunities that promote healthy development, early learning, and strong family–school connections—well before children enter preschool or kindergarten.
Pawsitive Beginnings offers families access to:
Information on early childhood development and developmental milestones
Resources related to speech, language, motor, and social-emotional development
Connections to local early intervention, health, and community services
Invitations to family-friendly events, workshops, and early learning opportunities
Support in navigating preschool readiness and future enrollment in the Netcong School District
Participation in Pawsitive Beginnings is voluntary, free of charge, and open to all families residing in the Netcong School District with children ages birth to three. Families may join the program at any time, regardless of whether their child currently receives outside services.
We encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to connect, learn, and grow alongside other Netcong families. Our district is committed to supporting children and families from the very beginning, and we look forward to partnering with you during these important early years.
