Welcome to 3rd grade!

I'm so happy to be starting off a new school year with you!  After several years teaching math and science in 5th grade, I'm making a switch to 3rd grade and will be co-teaching with Miss Henry. We've been busy setting up our classroom - Room 201 -  and are excited about working together.  

Summer is my favorite season.  I love to spend as much time as possible outside walking, gardening, or sitting on my front porch.  I had the opportunity to travel a bit this summer with my husband.  We visited the Canadian provinces of Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia, and also went out to Colorado to the Rocky Mountains.  The elevation there is much higher than NJ, and we went above 10,000 feet!  Amazing views! 

As summer draws to a close, we've had some crazy weather, but with the severe storms came a beautiful rainbow - actually it's a double rainbow. Can you see it in the picture?  Incredible!! 

I'm looking forward to seeing you soon and hearing about your summer.
