All About Miss R!

I’m Amanda Rasczyk and I will be teaching the PSD classroom this school year. 

This is my 17th year of teaching and my experience is mostly in preschool. I taught in a Preschool Integrated class and PSD class in Nutley for the past 16 years. I moved to Sussex County 3 years ago and could no longer do the commute to Nutley so I looked for employment closer to home. I’m very happy to now be part of the Netcong learning community.

Preschool is a wonderful grade to teach and I love watching my little learners grow and their personalities unfold. 

In my spare time, I volunteer with NJ Boxer Rescue. Boxers are an amazing breed and I love helping them find loving, forever homes. In addition to volunteering, I enjoy going for walks, cooking/baking, farmhouse décor, feeding 

the cows that graze behind my home, spending time with family, iced-coffee runs to Dunkin’, going to farmer’s markets, spoiling my rescue boxer, Rocky, & adoring my not-so-friendly adopted rabbit, CinnaBunny.

Supply List:

○      2 changes of clothes/socks/underwear in a labeled zip-lock bag

○      Diapers/pull-ups if needed (enough for a week)

○      2 packages of wet wipes

○      2 boxes of tissues

○      1 box of gallon size zip-lock bags

○      1 box of quart/snack size zip-lock bags

○      1 backpack (big enough to carry a lunch box & folder)

○      Lunch/drink each day

○      2 snacks/drinks (morning & afternoon snack) each day

○      Throw blanket for rest time (will be sent home at the end of each week for you to wash and return the following week)

○  1 old/oversized t-shirt/smock to keep in school to wear during messy art activities (please put in a zip-lock bag labeled ART shirt with your child’s name)
