Jurgita Malinauskaite

Jurgita Malinauskaite is a Professor at Brunel Law School, where she teaches competition law and energy law. She is also a visiting Professor at Vytautas Magnus University (Kaunas, Lithuania). Prior to her academic career, Professor Malinauskaite served as a competition lawyer at the Competition Council of Lithuania.

Her expertise is in various aspects of competition law, including harmonisation, in the Central and Eastern European (CEE) region. She is also the author of numerous journal articles as well as two monographs: Merger Control in Post-Communist Countries, Routledge, 2010; and Harmonisation of EU Competition Law Enforcement, Springer, 2019 (Harmonisation of EU Competition Law Enforcement | Jurgita Malinauskaite | Springer). The latest book was based on the expansive research covering 11 CEE jurisdictions.
