Avdylkader Mucaj

Dr. Avdylkader Mucaj, obtained his PhD at University of Ljubljana-Faculty on Law on European Law, whereas his thesis was entirely focused on competition law. Mr. Mucaj holds also an LL.M. in European Law from Stockholm University, Sweden. In addition, Mr. Mucaj spent also two years as PhD researcher in the field of EU Law at Free University of Berlin, in Germany. He taught different law subjects at University of Prizren in Kosovo, including Business Law. Dr. Mucaj has published in the field of competition law, mostly reflecting competition law developments and enforcement in Kosovo, such as: ‘Challenges in Following the EU Enforcement Jurisprudence’ Journal of European Competition Law & Practice and “Competition Law Framework in Kosovo and the Role of the EU in Promoting Competition Policies in Other Countries and Regions Wishing to Join the Block” Yearbook of Antitrust and Regulatory Studies-YARS. Mr. Mucaj has participated to the e 6th Zagreb Competition Law and Policy Conference in Memory of Dr. Vedran Šoljan, Challenges to the Enforcement of Competition Rules in Central and Eastern Europe, 12–13 December 2019, Zagreb, Croatia. His current research interest is focused on public enforcement challenges of competition law in Kosovo; competition law in the digital markets; as well as the interplay between competition and public procurement via online platforms.
