Assistant Professor
Dalia Suša Vugec, PhD, is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Informatics, Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Zagreb. Her work integrates business informatics, business process management and automation, knowledge management, social computing, digital literacy, and the application of artificial intelligence in organizational and societal contexts. She continuously develops her expertise through specialised training in applied AI, data visualisation, advanced statistical methods, and research methodology at internationally recognised institutions. She actively participates in national and international research projects, including initiatives focused on digital transformation, process intelligence, competitiveness, and labour market analytics, as well as projects that promote the development of advanced digital skills and tools in higher education. She has published more than 50 scientific papers and contributed chapters to books and university textbooks, and she serves as a reviewer for international scientific journals and conferences. In teaching, she delivers undergraduate and graduate courses related to digital technologies and artificial intelligence and supervises bachelor’s and master’s theses in the areas of digital transformation, user experience, and applied AI, including within the healthcare sector. She has received multiple institutional awards for teaching excellence and research productivity.

Full Professor with Tenure
Professor Vesna Bosilj Vukšić, PhD, is a full professor with tenure at the Department of Informatics, Faculty of Economics & Business, University of Zagreb. Her scientific and research work focuses on business process modelling and management, graphical and simulation modelling, information systems development, knowledge management, process and business intelligence, and digital transformation. Throughout her academic career, she has taught and led numerous courses at undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate levels, particularly in the fields of informatics, business information systems, business process management, and process-oriented digital technologies. She has significant international teaching experience and is a permanent visiting professor at the School of Economics and Business, University of Ljubljana. She has led and participated in numerous national and international scientific research projects in the fields of information, process and knowledge management, business excellence, and digital technologies. She has published more than 100 scientific and professional papers in journals, conference proceedings, and books, actively participates in national and international scientific conferences, and serves as a reviewer for international scientific journals and conferences. She has received several awards for scientific contribution, including the Emerald Outstanding Paper Award and the “Mijo Mirković” awards for books in the field of business process management.

Full Professor with Tenure
Professor Katarina Ćurko, PhD, is a full professor with tenure at the Department of Informatics, Faculty of Economics & Business, University of Zagreb. She graduated in Economic Cybernetics, earned her master’s degree in the field of organization and management, and obtained her PhD with a dissertation in the field of information systems for management support. Before pursuing an academic career, she worked as a programmer, and since 1989 she has been continuously employed at the Faculty of Economics & Business, University of Zagreb. Her scientific, professional, and teaching work focuses on informatics, database and data warehouse modelling, business intelligence, business analytics, and business information systems. She has published more than 60 scientific and professional papers in the field of informatics, as well as several chapters in peer-reviewed Croatian books. She has participated in numerous national and international scientific and professional conferences.

Professor Božidar Jaković, PhD, is a full professor at the Faculty of Economics & Business, University of Zagreb. He graduated in Business Informatics, earned his master’s degree in Information Management, and obtained his PhD from the Faculty of Economics & Business, University of Zagreb. He also holds an Executive Certificate in Strategy and Innovation from the MIT Sloan School of Management’s lifelong learning programme, and has pursued professional development through numerous training programmes, workshops, and conferences in Europe, the United States, Canada, Japan, and China. His scientific, research, and teaching work focuses on digital business, mobile business, business document management, digital technologies, digital business transformation, and IT management. He has participated in scientific research projects funded by the Croatian Science Foundation, the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports of the Republic of Croatia, and University of Zagreb research support programmes. He is the course leader for several courses related to digital transformation, IT management, innovative information technologies, and e-business. He is the author of numerous scientific papers published in journals, conference proceedings, and books.

Associate Professor
Associate Professor Ljubica Milanović, PhD, is an associate professor at the Department of Informatics, Faculty of Economics & Business, University of Zagreb, and Vice Dean for Study Programmes, Communication and Digitalization. She graduated in Analysis and Business Planning, completed the postgraduate specialist study programme in Information Management, and obtained her PhD from the Faculty of Economics & Business, University of Zagreb with a dissertation in the field of business process performance measurement. Her scientific, professional, and teaching work focuses on business information systems, business process management, knowledge management, social computing, and the digital environment. She has participated in several scientific research projects, including projects in the fields of process and business intelligence, information, process and knowledge management, and business processes in the healthcare system. She regularly participates in scientific and professional conferences and publishes papers in Croatian and international journals. She has received several recognitions and awards, including the Recognition for the Promotion of the Faculty of Economics & Business Zagreb, the Best Paper Award, and the Research Excellence Award.

Assistant Professor
Assistant Professor Ana-Marija Stjepić, PhD, is an assistant professor at the Department of Informatics, Faculty of Economics & Business, University of Zagreb. She graduated from the Faculty of Economics & Business, University of Zagreb, where she obtained the academic title of Master of Economics and later earned a PhD in the field of economics. During her studies, she worked as a teaching assistant at the Department of Informatics, after which she gained professional experience in the IT department of the private sector and joined the Faculty of Economics & Business, University of Zagreb as a teaching assistant and doctoral candidate on a Croatian Science Foundation project. Her research and teaching work focuses on the application of information and communication technologies in business, business intelligence, database modelling, data warehouses, innovation management, digital transformation of enterprises, and electronic forms of business. She has participated in methodological and teaching training programmes in Croatia, Italy, and Slovenia, and actively contributes to research through University of Zagreb support projects, Erasmus+ projects, and BIP programmes. She regularly publishes and reviews scientific papers in internationally recognized scientific journals and proceedings of international scientific conferences.

Teaching and Research Assistant
Ivan Jajić, PhD, is an assistant at the Department of Informatics, Faculty of Economics & Business, University of Zagreb. He graduated in Financial Management from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and obtained his PhD in the field of business informatics from the Faculty of Economics & Business, University of Zagreb. His professional and research interests include the digital economy, artificial intelligence, innovative technologies, and data analytics. He is the author of several scientific papers published in WoS and Scopus-indexed journals and has received an award from the Society of University Teachers for scientific contribution. He participates in teaching at university and professional study programmes and serves as secretary of the English-language study programmes Master in Managerial Informatics and Bachelor Degree in Business, as well as the postgraduate specialist study programme Business Management – MBA. He is a member of several committees at the Faculty of Economics & Business Zagreb and of the organizing committee of the Odyssey scientific conference. In addition to his academic career, he has practical experience in the business sector, particularly in revenue management and product management. He is involved in national and international projects, including SpinIT Interreg Danube, and regularly participates in international scientific conferences as a presenter, reviewer, and session co-chair.

Teaching and Research Assistant
Lucija Ivančić is an assistant at the Department of Informatics, Faculty of Economics & Business, University of Zagreb, and a doctoral student in the postgraduate doctoral study programme. She completed her undergraduate university study programme in Economics and her graduate study programme in Managerial Informatics at the Faculty of Economics & Business, University of Zagreb, graduating with the highest honours, summa cum laude. During her studies, she received the Dean’s Award twice: for her undergraduate thesis in the field of simulation modelling of business processes in healthcare and for her seminar paper in the field of information systems auditing. Since 2018, she has been employed at the Department of Informatics, where she participates in teaching and research activities. She has pursued professional development at international universities, including Maastricht University and the University of Cambridge, as well as at the University of Zagreb, in the areas of research methods, academic writing, business intelligence, and data analysis. Her research interests include digital transformation, business process management, information systems auditing, process automation, digital business ecosystems, process mining, and the adoption of artificial intelligence. She is a member of IEEE Croatia, the Croatian ISACA Chapter, and the Croatian Artificial Intelligence Association, and is the author of more than twenty scientific papers.
