COVID • Cops’ Oblivious Violence Ignites Debacle
Cole Edwards is a 17 year old Howard University bound student that intends to study business. He always had a love for writing in which he used to express his feelings about the current atrocities occurring in America right now. In the midst of a global pandemic, America is fighting a greater virus: racism. Edwards’ COVID: Cops’ Oblivious Violence Ignites Debacle is a poem, dedicated to his future kid, describing what it was like living in 2020, a year for the history books.
