Updated 3/16
Our ability to offer a growing number of sport opportunities would not be possible without the support of our families, and donors. We ask for a minimum of $20 fee for any student participating on a NEST+m sport. This helps to ensure that we can continue our growth as a program.
Where does the money go?
Jerseys (look good, play good)
Ref Fees (NEST+m pays for refs for every game we participate in)
Equipment (basketballs, tennis balls, soccer balls, cones, etc.)
Thank you to all of our supporters!

SPRING 2025-26 MIDDLE SCHOOL SPORTS
🏆 NEST+m Middle Grade Table Tennis Team Wins 2nd Place at 2026 AYTTO NY State Scholastic Team Championship
On March 14, 2026, the NEST+m Middle Grade Table Tennis Team placed 2nd at the 2026 AYTTO NY State Scholastic Team Championship, held at FDR High School in Brooklyn.
Throughout the season and at the final Championship, team members Anderson Zhang (6th), Bear Allen (6th), Jack Jacobs (6th), Kyle Shih (8th), Raiden Sun (8th), and Sam Goldfisher (8th) represented NEST+m with skill, determination, and outstanding sportsmanship.
This marked NEST+m’s third year competing in the AYTTO Championship, and the team showed impressive progress—improving from 4th place in 2024 to 2nd place this year. NEST+m competed against teams including Great Neck Middle School South (1st place), East Side Middle School (3rd place), Great Neck Middle School North, Harlem Children’s Zone (Teams 1 & 2), and Wagner Middle School, along with additional schools during the season.
Congratulations to our players on this outstanding achievement!

UPDATE: Due to Coach O’Connor having a baby, (YAY!) we will not be having a fall girls volleyball season. We will now put our energy and resources into having a full spring girls volleyball season. Updates will be posted around March.
Middle School Track Club - Coach Philips - SPhilips@schools.nyc.gov
UPDATE: Because of the East River Track closing this week, we will not be able to host a track club this year. We hope that by spring, more of the East River Park will open up and space will be available soon.
