NSD Covid-19 Dashboard

The health and safety of students and staff is a top priority at Neshaminy School District. In order to give our community the information they need to make informed decisions, the tables below provide current and accurate information on positive cases of Covid-19 among our students and staff.

As you review these reports, please keep in mind the following:

1. Cases reported here are only those incidents requiring Neshaminy School District to do contact tracing because the positive individual was in school, or participating in a school activity, within the two-day window of concern as defined by a “Close Contact.”

The tallies in the Co-Curricular column indicate student / staff positive cases within an athletic team / co-curricular organization where contact tracing does not involve the broader school community within the normal school day.

2. A "Close Contact" is defined as, "Someone who was within 6 feet of an infected person for at least 15 minutes starting from 2 days before illness onset (or, for asymptomatic patients, 2 days prior to specimen collection) until the time the patient is isolated.” [Centers for Disease Control]

3. Neshaminy School District does not report (and may not be aware of) students or employees who have tested positive but have not been in the school environment within the two-day window of concern articulated above.

4. Positive cases are reported here, regardless of whether the virus was contracted in school or outside of school.
