Porcupine Bears claim gold, bronze at provincial Hoopla, 2026

Unprecedent Coaching Accomplishment

Congratulations to Daniel Bloski, from Porcupine Plain Comprehensive School on an outstanding achievement at Hoopla, where his senior boys captured 1A gold and his senior girls earned 1A bronze. This milestone is especially remarkable as both teams competed side by side, with the girls making their first-ever appearance and demonstrating tremendous growth, while the boys continued their dominant run with back-to-back provincial titles. To have both teams medal under the same coach in the same year is a rare and exceptional accomplishment—truly a testament to Daniel’s leadership and dedication.
