Practice sight words regularly and return the sight word sheet when your child can read through the list accurately and quickly.

Tuesday - Reading log, write 5 spelling sentences
Wednesday - Reading log & Worksheet
Thursday - Reading log, study for spelling test, wear shoes for P.E.

Reading logs:
Read 15 minutes Monday - Friday. There are several ways you can read every night: your child reads aloud to you, you read aloud to your child, or read aloud together. As your child strengthens their reading fluency and stamina, they may want to read longer books or chapter books that may take several days to finish. If this happens, just record the book title and chapters on the reading log. Your child should record the book read, author and fill in the opinion every day after they read. The reading response on the back of the reading log should be completed on ONE book that was read during the week. Completed reading logs are due every MONDAY morning.
