This activity can easily be done in groups, so 15 is plenty for a full class. The app Sphero EDU (Chrome or device) or Sphero Development Site is needed to run these robots.
Description: This Sphero vehicle is built for customization so it is perfect for those that want to hack and tinker. Also, it will drive on all terrains and with its powerful motor and treads! There are a bunch of sensors and also a universal expansion port making this a great tool for hacking and coding! Have students drive and avoid obstacles, program with Draw, Blocks or JavaScript, use the sensors and color cards, or use the expansion port for running Arduino, Raspberry Pi and Micro:bit!
Sensors: Color sensor, light sensor, IR, magnetometer, accelerometer, and gyroscope. Use the color sensors to navigate a color maze!
