TIP - Inclement Weather

If you hear thunder or see lightning, leave the green and go inside the clubhouse until the storm has passed. The play can continue. If that is either not possible or not desired, put away the playing equipment.

If it is very hot, consider playing fewer ends and consider taking a break during the game. Stay hydrated.

Weather forecasts are uncertain and conditions can change very quickly. Sometimes we come to the club and the game cannot be played. That is the nature of any sport played outside.

If the City of Ottawa closes its outdoor recreation facilities (such as during the smoke events of 2023), the club also closes, even for individual practice.
