I've been an elementary educator for 30 years. Throughout my tenure in education, I have learned so much about what it takes to be a teacher of literacy. Along the way, I've done some things right and I've made more than a few mistakes. My desire is to educate the educators-to help ELA teachers as well as families extract the reading, writing, and speaking gifts that we know all students have, regardless of their age, background, or experiences.
