About Our Classroom
DESCRIPTION OF CARE & CONNECT is the class in which your son will spend the first 30 minutes of his day. During this time, through small groups, we focus on CONNECTing with one another, providing a time to show CARE, and CREATING the community we desire. Some activities your son might engage in include: small group discussion, FUTURE STORY PREP, team building, service opportunities, and celebrating each other's successes. This year we are working on building skills needed to be successful contributors to our COMMUNITY.

DESCRIPTION OF SOC is a class of representatives chosen by the LEADERs of one of our many student LEADERship opportunities. In this course, student will work on collaborative teams in order to organize COMMUNITY events, and to CREATE meaningful experiences for others in their student LEADERship opportunities.

As the Student Leadership Director, I am excited about the work our great leaders are doing for our students. During our time apart, our student leaders and leaders have still been working to create meaningful experience. As a district, our goal is to every student involved in at least one student leadership opportunities. Through community engagement and great leadership, we know that we can create life changing experiences for our students, leaders and community as whole.
