A little library was created by Parker Keyzer and Eliza Hintz and was placed In Kautzer Park.
Biodegradable compostable coffee plastic was made By Croix Scholl, May 2025. He made this as a way to replace our ceramic coffee mugs.
Trees for Tomorrow is an organization located in Eagle River Wisconsin. They provide environmental education to schools in the Northern Midwest, for CWSA this is in the form of a yearly multi-day field trip. This trip usually happens in late April to early May.
Activities at Trees for Tomorrow
CWSA students have spent a few months developing solar ovens. These ovens were then tested on a sunny day to cook cookies and pizza, and the temperatures inside were recorded. The highest temperature recorded was 220 degrees Fahrenheit.
CWSA students spent their time over a few weeks to create a Zipline device. This device was then sent down a zipline made out of fishing line, and then the devices were timed. The fastest recorded time was 4.21 seconds. These devices then hit a metal pole, and the egg embedded in every device had to survive
