ANY student who plans on attending a Texas Public College or University within the next FIVE years is REQUIRED to have completed and passed at least ONE of these College Entrance/Placement exams prior to graduation.
The TSI Assessment (TSIA) is the result of the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) mandated by the Texas State Legislature. The assessment is designed to guide Texas public institutions of higher education in determining whether students are ready for entry-level college coursework in English Language Arts Reading (ELAR) and mathematics.
Students are exempt from this assessment if they meet college-readiness benchmarks on the SAT, ACT, or if they complete the high school College Preparatory Course(s) with a qualifying final average at participating institutions.

If your family has renewed meal benefits for the 26-27 school year, your student can obtain their SAT fee waiver in my CCMR office.
If your student would prefer to take the Accuplacer "TSI-A2" exam instead of retesting the SAT, they will need to register and pay for the Reagan TSI exams in the College/Career Center with Mrs. Garcia Dubravec.
