ALOHA, Y'ALL!!

I would first like to welcome you to our World Geography class! I am beyond excited to teach students where stuff is in the world and how it all got there. I believe that it is imperative for students to know where things are in the world because geography sets the scene for future social studies courses taken throughout high school and even college.

Contrary to what you may think from my webpage, I am from San Antonio- not Hawaii. However, Hawaii is my favorite place on the planet, it is my paradise! Teaching students and developing relationships with them is something that I love and I want my classroom to be a paradise for my students to facilitate learning.

I am a "NEISD baby" meaning that I went K-12 in NEISD. I graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio Spring of 2018 with my Bachelors in History with a Concentration in Social Studies. This will be my third year teaching and I am beyond blessed to continue my career at such an incredible school! In addition to teaching World Geography, I am honored to be the PALS (Peer Assistant Leadership and Service) Sponsor!

I firmly believe in doing whatever I can to help my students. I am an advocate for my students and their success not only in my class but in life. There is truth in the saying "It takes a village" so please feel free to contact me at anytime!
