The Internship Program is a key learning experience at ISA. All ISA students complete a 120-hour or longer internship. Students collaborate with the internship coordinator, teachers, and community partners in the public and private sectors during their senior year. They create placements to explore their interests, expectations, and college major options. Through their internship, students develop a work ethic, receive mentoring, and learn organizational procedures, corporate etiquette, and professional expectations. They also make valuable connections for their future education and career. The internship allows students to apply classroom knowledge to real-world situations. ISA students have interned in various fields, such as medical offices, law firms, scientific institutions, schools, and technology companies.
