Idalia Espino grew up in San Antonio, TX and graduated from Fox Tech High School in 2012 where she was an active member of the mariachi ensemble. Upon graduation Ms. Espino pursued her Bachelors Degree from Texas State University.

Through her time at Texas State she was a member of the Texas State Symphony Orchestra, Opera Orchestra, string trios, performed in colleagues recitals, worked the Texas State Strings Camp, taught private lessons at a music studio in Lockhart, TX, and was part of the Texas State String Project Faculty.

Idalia began teaching middle school orchestra in 2017 in Georgetown, TX, where she got to open up a new school and build the orchestra from the ground up. Although she loved teaching in Georgetown, Ms. Espino is very excited to be back in her hometown and finally be able to give back to her community where her love of music began.
