School Purposes

The school was formally established in 2010 as an experimental high school

There are currently 3 grades consisting of 12 classes in the senior high department (including 3 experimental classes of mathematics and science). There are also 3 grades consisting of 12 classes in the junior high department (and a class for gifted students). The school consists of 37 classes in total.

The primary purpose of the school's establishment is to cater for the needs of the Science Park employees, investment companies, government agencies, academic research institutions, and children of international professors.

Aligned with the overseas recruitment policy, the school provides educational services that meet international standards, and cultivates bilingual and multicultural talents.

Based on educational experimental approach, the school seeks to fulfill the purpose of conducting experimental education, and responding to the needs ofthe Science Park at the same time.

Learning Environment

NEHS awarded the first ''Diamond Green Building" in Taichung. Shadows of trees and stretches of meadows color this friendly ecological environment. With an ecological pond on the southern tip, the campus is abundant in natural resources and capable of flood control.

With school buildings connected with winding skywalks, we provide students with a supportive and accessible learning environment. Classrooms are soundproof and air-conditioned. Laboratories are well-equipped and technology-integrated. With sufficient facilities, students learn through experimental courses and digital learning.

School Dormitory

Our dormitory provides 30 quad rooms for high-school students. Each room is air-conditioned and equipped with a bathroom and a balcony. Every student is provided with a personal desk, a closet, and free access to the Internet. Daily appliances are also available in the lobby.

Prospectve Students

The Senior High Department

Children of employees of private enterprises or government agencies in the Central Taiwan Science Park, students and those from the junior high schools in

Central Taiwan are qualified to apply for senior high department.

The Junior High Department

Students whose parents are employed in the Central Taiwan Science Park and those who reside in the community are qualified to apply. In addition, students

who have graduated from elementary school nearby NEHS, and have resided within the school's specific district for at least two years.

The International Bilingual School at Central Taiwan Science Park (IBSC)

Employees return to Taiwan to and currently work in the Science Park. Foreign citizens who are employed in the Science Park. Other qualifications are stated in IBSC enrollment regulations.
