MONO ACT :
Rules and Regulations:
Time limit is 3mins-6mins. Negative points for exceeding the time limit.
Dress Code: Decent dress and makeup which will be suitable for the performance on school platform.
The participants will be judged on their costume, choreography, visual presentation, technique, etc.
Participants will be allotted 5 minutes to prepare the act.
Theme would be given on the spot.
Obscenity and offensive gestures are strictly prohibited.
Participants should get their own props.
Each student can register for only one competition / event.
Lighting of matchstick, candles, cigarettes is prohibited.
Any obscene/offensive music/song is not allowed.
The decision of judges will be final and binding.
MIME :
Rules and Regulations:
Team Event, consisting of maximum 6 members.
Time Duration will be 5-7 minutes.
The act should not contain any dialogues, lip sync, props or songs.
No act shall contain any offensive, obscene, disrespectful actions or gestures.
Background music is allowed.
No mythology and religious violence.
Points will be given on the basis of innovation, depiction of the situation, team work and expressions.
Accompaniment may be either live or on track.
Each student can register for only one competition / event.
Judgement will be based on the qualities like idea, creativity of presentation, use of make-up, music, overall appearance, performance, skills and general impression.
The decision of the judge will be final.
MIMICRY:
Rules and Regulations:
This is a solo event.
Each participant shall be given 5 minutes.
Judgment will be based on imitating skill, variety of sound and voices imitated and overall presentation.
Each student can register for only one competition / event.
No vulgar or unparliamentary language will be entertained.
The decision of the judge will be final.
