The Octagon House is located at 343 Smith Street in Neenah, Wisconsin. It was built between 1852 and 1856. It was owned first by Edward Smith, the first mayor in Neenah. He later sold it to his brother Hiram Smith. The house had two owners after him and later became part of the Neenah Historical Society. The house is now a museum people can visit to learn about its history and to see special exhibits about the time period in which the house was in its glory. The current exhibit is called "Voting for a Change."
