Mia Allen (Little Becky Two-Shoes)-
Mia is thrilled to be playing Little Becky Two-Shoes and designing costumes for Urinetown. Over the summer, she played roles such as Rosie in Mamma Mia and Cinderella in Into the Woods, and can’t wait to officially start off this year’s set of musicals with SAMD’s 2023 production. Now in her sophomore year of high school, Mia enjoys hula hooping, playing DnD, and writing and composing music outside of theater. She would like to thank everyone who has encouraged and supported her in the performing arts as well as the entire cast, pit, and crew of Urinetown for fostering such a skilled, hardworking, and caring community.
Nina Barzilay (Ensemble)-
Nina is a Freshman who enjoys baking, singing, and hanging out with her friends and family. Nina played Beezus in Needham Community Theatre’s recent production of Ramona Quimby and previously had featured roles in middle school and other community theater productions. She is excited to be performing with the high school and hopes you enjoy the show!
Kiersten Blume (Ensemble)-
Kiersten Blume is so excited to be a part of her second show with SAMD. She has greatly enjoyed her experience on the SAMD board for the past year and is extremely proud of the work everyone has done in order to put on such a fantastic show. Outside of theater, Kiersten enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing piano, and playing rugby. She hopes you have an awesome show — urine for a good one.
Amelia Broderick (Ensemble)-
Amelia is a 9th grader and is very excited to be in her first high school Production! She has played roles like Regina George, Katherine Plumber, and Ursula! She has been doing dance for 13 years and would like to thank her Mom and her older sister Sydney for always Believing in her!
Jackson Bush (Officer Lockstock)-
Jackson is a senior and is so excited to participate in his third and final SAMD show!! This will be his 7th show at Needham High overall, with other roles including Joseph Pulitzer in Newsies, Narrator in Into the Woods, Mal in The Addams Family, and Professor Bhaer in Little Women. He is also a second year member of the SAMD Board, and can be seen on stage with NHS’ Subway Dwarves. Offstage, he enjoys playing fantasy football, listening to yacht rock, and spreading propaganda about the greatest musical of all time, Catch Me If You Can. He hopes you enjoy Urinetown! Fiona Byrne (Little Sally)-
Fiona is so excited to be performing in Urinetown as Little Sally! Fiona is a sophomore at NHS and this is her second year doing SAMD. Fiona has performed in many shows in the past such as The Addams Family (Pugsley), The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Logainne), and Mean Girls (Ms. Norbury). Fiona would like to thank her friends and family for being so supportive of her and helping her get to where she is today. Welcome to Urinetown and she hopes you enjoy the show!
James Casale (Old Man Strong, Ensemble)-
James has played many strange roles over the years, but this is one of the most peculiar. In his free time, he enjoys drawing and playing guitar, as well as participating in one of NHS's many acapella groups, The Subway Dwarves. James can't wait for you to see the show, urine for one exciting ride.
Madeleine Clevenger (Assistant Stage Manager)-
Madeleine is a sophomore and is very excited to be an assistant stage manager for this show. She has been backstage for a few shows before, including last year's productions of Beauty and the Beast, Radium Girls, and Little Women. She hopes you all enjoy your trip to Urinetown!
Taylor Constantino (Robby the Stockfish)-
Taylor is thrilled to perform in her 3rd and final SAMD show! Taylor is in 12th grade and has enjoyed playing characters such as Wednesday Addams and Jo March with Needham High School Theater. In her free time, Taylor likes to run really fast (50 mph). She hopes you love the show!
Danny Culp (Backstage Sound)-
Danny is very excited to be a part of his first high school performance! He loves doing sound and can’t wait to do it here!
Annie Dangel (Run Crew)-
Annie is so excited to be a part of her 3rd SAMD show! Annie has participated in tech in 6 NHS productions and is excited for more to come! Her favorite part of tech is painting set pieces and working with the crew. She would like to thank all of tech for being super kind and understanding and her family for being supportive. Sarah Dangel (Ensemble)-
Sarah is super excited to be in her first musical of senior year, Urinetown! This is her third and final SAMD show, and she has enjoyed every second of it. She loves the music from this show and hopes everyone enjoys watching. Sarah would like to thank the directors, cast, and crew for making this show so fun and awesome. Break a leg everyone!
Tessa Deng (Ensemble)-
Tessa is thrilled to be in her first Needham High School production! Outside of theater, Tessa enjoys dancing, art, and babysitting.
Anna Del Vecchio (Spot)-
Anna is so excited to be a part of the Urinetown tech crew! This is her 4th show at NHS and her first SAMD production. Anna enjoys building sets and bonding with the cast and crew. In her free time she likes playing soccer, skiing, and spending time with friends and family. Enjoy the show!
Mary Scott Dunn (Ensemble)-
Mary Scott is so excited to be taking part in SAMD’s production of Urinetown at Needham High School this year! Mary Scott is a junior and this is her fourth musical at NHS. She participates in the Needham Speech Team and sings in Treble Rebels (one of NHS’s a cappella groups). In her free time, she likes to bake sweets and spend time with friends. Miranda Collins-Kullberg (Stage Manager)-
Miranda is thrilled to be starting her senior year off with stage managing Urinetown! She loves SAMD and will miss it greatly after the show; as a member of the SAMD Board, SAMD means a lot to her as the first show that got her into Needham High School theater back in 2021 with The Little Mermaid. Miranda loves stage management and is delighted to present all the hard work of the amazing and talented cast and crew.
Sleggie Figueroa (Ensemble)-
Sleggie is in 9th grade and has been doing theater since the beginning of middle school. They enjoy singing outside of school and also play the piano.They are so excited to be a part of Urinetown this year!
Sara Franco (Run Crew)-
Sara is very excited to share with you this amazing show, Urinetown! This is Sara’s 2nd year being on the tech team, and she has acted in NHS play’s as well. Sara loves the magic of the theater and hopes that you enjoy it as much as she does!
Josie George (Hope Cladwell)-
Josie is a senior and is thrilled to be joining the cast of Urinetown! She has been involved with the performing arts her whole life. Her favorite past roles at Needham High School include: Baker’s Wife (Into the Woods), Marmee (Little Women), and Madame de La Grande Bouche (Beauty and the Beast). Amanda is a sophomore who is so excited to be in her second SAMD show! Previously, she has been in the cast of the Addams Family and Beauty and the Beast, and also loved being on tech crew for Shrek at Needham Community Theater. Julia Goldman (Josephine Strong)-
Julia is so excited to be performing in Urinetown! She is a senior and has performed in many previous shows at Needham High School, including Newsies, Into The Woods, and Beauty and the Beast. Outside of theater, she is a part of Fermata Nowhere, NHS’s all female, non audition acapella group. Sophia Handler (Ensemble)-
Sophia is thrilled to be a part of Urinetown! Recently, she has played Irene in Crazy For You, a narrator in The Hallmarks of Horror, and Sir Harry in Once Upon a Mattress. This winter, she will also be performing in the ensemble for Legally Blonde. Outside of theater, Sophia loves songwriting and reading. She hopes you enjoy the show!
Lucas Herrera (Bobby Strong)-
Lucas loves playing Bobby onstage. Urinetown is his new favorite show. He hopes you enjoy his performance.
Lily Katz (Ensemble)-
Lily is a junior who has been a part of SAMD since her freshman year. She has loved every minute of every show, and this show has been no exception! Outside of theater, she loves singing in her a capella group, the Treble Rebels, writing, and competing in speech and debate. She is so grateful to her directors and hopes you enjoy the show as much as she has.

Jenny Koslow (Assistant Stage Manager)-
Jenny is so excited for her second SAMD show, and her fourth show at NHS as an assistant stage manager! She loves going to rehearsals and set builds, and getting to bond with the cast and crew. Jenny enjoys spending her free time with her friends and family. She is so thrilled to be helping to put on this production of Urinetown!
Haley Larson (Sound)-
Haley is very excited to be doing her 5th show at NHS! Haley is a sophomore that enjoys baking, history, and crochet. She did tech for all of the NHS shows last year and hopes to continue this year. Enjoy the show!!!
Charlotte Lee (Ensemble)-
Charlotte is so happy to be returning to SAMD! She is currently a sophomore in high school, and did the SAMD show and winter musical last year as a freshman. She really enjoys dancing and singing, so musicals are right up her alley. She's put in a lot of work to carry her weight in this show, so she hopes you enjoy Urinetown!
Alex Lundquist (Senator Fipp)-
Alex, playing Senator Fipp, is relatively new to theater- and having a blast in this production! A senior at NHS, he enjoys fishing and long walks on the beach, and would like to thank his parents and friends for encouraging him to be a part of this amazing production.
Mia Maffeo (Ensemble)-
Mia is a junior at NHS who is very excited about participating in her first SAMD production! Over the last two years, she has been a part of Newsies, Beauty and Beast, and various other shows at camp. Outside of theater, she enjoys creating art, hanging out with friends, and going for walks outside. Mia would like to thank her very supportive directors, castmates, crew, and parents who drive her home from rehearsal every day!
Caroline Mahar (Ensemble)-
Caroline is thrilled to be participating in this year's production of Urinetown! Caroline is a junior at Needham High School and will be a part of the ensemble in her 2nd SAMD show. In her free time she loves drawing, playing with her dog, and hanging out with friends. Caroline would like to thank the cast and crew for making this experience so memorable!

Kiera McCafferty (Set Crew)-
Kiera is a freshman at NHS, and this is her first time working on a show at Needham High! She has also worked on tech crew while she was at Pollard. Outside of crew, she also likes to draw, animate, read and write.
Henry McCue (Hot Blades Harry)-
Henry is thrilled to participate in Urinetown. He is a Senior that has previously played Charlie Lee in Radium Girls and Leaf Coneybear in Spelling Bee. Outside of the theater he is a member of the NHS Chorale and The Subway Dwarves.
Katie Memory (Soupy Sue)-
Katie is a freshman at NHS, and is so excited to be playing Soupy Sue in Urinetown! She loves theater, and is so happy to get to perform with all of her friends at the highschool. Some of her favorite roles include Cady Heron (Mean Girls), Vivienne Kensington (Legally Blonde), and The Witch (Into The Woods). Outside of theater, Katie enjoys skiing, hanging out with friends, and watching her favorite T.V. shows. Katie wants to thank all of her close friends and family for always supporting her in her endeavors, and being there for her when she needs them.

Mia is so excited to be part of her first high school show! She is so excited to be in one. She would like to thank her family for supporting her along the way of her acting passion. She has played The Dragon in Shrek, Lago in Aladdin, and Taylor in High School Musical. She loves her cast and crew, they are all so sweet and nice. Enjoy the show!
Maggie Murray (Ensemble)-
Maggie is so excited to be in her first high school musical! She is in 9th grade. In her pastime, she likes to read, play ice hockey and tennis, and hangout with her friends. She is very thankful to be a part of this show!
Boyoung Paik (Penelope Pennywise)-
Boyoung is serious about pee. And shhh. All things potty. Enjoy the show! She would like to thank the amazing SAMD community and board for such a rewarding past three years. So much love. And pee.
Emma Pretorius (Ensemble)-
Emma is a junior at Needham High. She is a fun, lively, energetic girl who has a contagious laugh and a silly personality. She enjoys activities like field hockey, art, jewelry making and spending time with her friends. This is her second year participating in NHS musicals and is happy to be a part of this show!
Nicole Puzzangara (Set Crew)-
Nicole is in 9th grade and is so excited to be a part of this show. She has built and done props for 67 Cinderellas and High School Musical as props manager and The Rules of Comedy and Hallmarks Of Horror as props manager as well. She loves building and is looking forward to seeing pieces of work that she has contributed to in the show. Nicole enjoys art, hanging out with friends and listening to music outside of theater.

Alex Randall-Collins (Assistant Production Manager)-
Alex is so excited to be working on this show as assistant production manager! They have previously been involved with SAMD since freshman year, and are thrilled to be taking on this new role.
Kavya Rao (Ensemble)-
Kavya is currently a Junior, and this is her third year participating in NHS theater. Previously, Kavya was in The Little Mermaid, Newsies and Clue. Outside of theater, she enjoys dance, hanging out with her friends, and listening to music. Thanks to the director, cast and crew and enjoy the show!
Miles Salerno (Ensemble)-
Miles is thrilled to be back doing NHS theater for a second straight year! Last year, he enjoyed the spooky thrills of the Addams family and the excitement of Beauty and The Beast! Miles is currently a sophomore at NHS and enjoys spending time with friends doing things like playing baseball and biking around. Miles would love to thank his whole family, along with his voice teacher, Teresa Blume, who has helped him throughout this rehearsal process.
Max Scott (Officer Barrel)-
Max is very excited to be performing in another NHS Show. Previously, he has been in shows such as Into the Woods, Newsies, and Beauty and the Beast. Outside of theater, Max likes to participate in speech and debate, listen to music, and hang out with his friends. Noah Semel (Spot)-
Noah has been doing theater tech for 5 years. He is in 10th grade. He has done set design lighting design sound design and been on run for multiple shows. Outside of theater he rock climbs three times a week.

As a senior in high school, this is Engie's first time being a part of this theater production and is very excited to perform in this show.
Nora Slosser (Props Manager)-
Nora is excited to be participating in her first SAMD show! Previously, she has worked on the props table for Newsies and Beauty and the Beast. She is thrilled to be props manager for Urinetown, and hopes you enjoy the show!
Aaron Spiegel (Billy Boy Bill/Set Designer)-
Aaron is a senior at Needham High. This is his fourth SAMD show (and that's including the virtual one). He is so excited to be playing a role that isn't a corrupt public official for once! (e.g. Snyder in Newsies, or Monsieur D'Arque in Beauty and the Beast, or Colonel Mustard in Clue, or Douglas Panch in 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, or...... you get the idea). Anyways, he hopes you enjoy the show!

Stephanie is a junior this year and she is excited to be a part of the cast after playing in the pit orchestra for Addams Family, Beauty and the Beast, and Little Women. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Outside of theater Caroline enjoys singing in Needham’s Fermata Nowhere. Juliana Tarragona (Ensemble)-
Juliana loves SAMD. This is her 4th and final year on the SAMD Board. She is very sad to leave the board but excited to see the amazing things they do in the future. Urinetown is Juliana's favorite show. She hopes you laugh a lot. Enjoy.
Nadia Tess (Ensemble)-
Nadia in her sophomore year and she is so excited to be in Urinetown! This is her third show at the highschool. She participated in both Addams Family and Beauty and the Beast last year. In her free time, she likes to hang out with friends, play guitar, and sing in her acapella group, Counterpoint! enjoy the show!
Audrey Tolle (Set Crew)-
Audrey is so excited to be a part of her first SAMD musical at Needham High School! Audrey is a sophomore in high school and has always had a love for theater and the performing arts. She loves singing, dancing and acting and loves participating in plays and musicals. Audrey was a part of the ensemble in the 2023 Winter musical Beauty and the Beast and hopes to be in the show again this year.This is her first time participating in the behind the scenes technical aspects of a musical and she has loved every minute of it! More than anything, Audrey has loved the friendships that she has made with the other people participating in tech crew and hopes to be able to participate again next year!
Ava Towvim (Lighting Director)-
Ava is the lighting director for Urinetown. She’s been working on shows since 6th grade and is so excited to be doing tech this year! She wants to thank everyone that has contributed to the show including the cast, crew and directors. Joshua Weiner (Backstage Sound)-
Joshua is a freshman attending NHS this year. He is very excited to be working on Urinetown. He was assistant sound director for Pollard's High school Musical production, and Head Sound Director for Pollard's Rules of Comedy and Hallmarks of Horror.
